Born in Wolverhampton, England in 1958, Kelvin moved to Denver, Colorado in 1973 and graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1980. Kelvin worked the front counter and as parts manager at Scotland Yard British Cars from 1982-1988, then as a service writer for Green Mountain Motors until 1990. In 1991, he completed the MBA program at University of Colorado, Boulder. In 1992, Kelvin moved to California to work for CARS, a wholesale British parts company owned by Moss Motors, Ltd. Kelvin currently holds the position of Global Sourcing Product Coordinator and is the Tech department lead for Moss Motors.
In 2004 he was lucky enough to marry the woman of his dreams who shares his love for British cars. They live by a dry riverbed with a 2000 sq. foot workshop full of projects and share the property with three horses and two cats.
Kelvin’s current projects include an MGB V8, Supercharged MGB, MGC GTS replica, MGB Sebring replica vintage race car, Supercharged ZB Magnette, Land Rover 109 V8 hybrid, Rover SD1, Morgan +8, two Morgan +4s, a couple of MGAs, an Ambro MG and a creation affectionately called the FrankenMagnette.
